The ride-sharing behemoth has managed to receive sales well over ₹1100 crores for its first EV in India. Yep, the home-grown EV manufacturer just shared that it managed to garner quite the wow-za kind of sales for the Ola S1 and S1 Pro e scooters in just the two days it was available for purchase in the country. The electric scooters became available for purchase in India on 15 September and in less 24 hours, the company had managed to sell units worth over ₹600 crore by the end of the day. The company also announced that it has now closed llivescore ,Ola S1 and S1 Pro's purchase window albeit only temporarily. The EV maker added that it will start accpeting sales orders once again from 1 November 2021. Till then, the company will continue to accept reservations for the scooter. Ola S1 Pro gets a 3.97  kWh battery pack, is capable of a top speed of 115 km/h, and offers a riding range of 181 km/charge. The entry-level Ola S1, on the other hand, gets a 2.98 kWh battery, claims to deliver a riding range of 121 km/charge, and is capable of achieving a top speed of 90 km/h. As for the Ola S1 charging times, well the standard model's battery can be charged 100% in 4 hours 48 minutes, while Ola S1 Pro takes 6 hours 30 minutes with a portable charger.
